THELMA W. BARGE

Thelma W. Barge of the 2700 block of Anwell Drive died June 3, 1997, in Chippenham Manor Nursing Home.

Retired and a housewife, she was a Norfolk native.

Survivors include three daughters, Faye Tolliver of Maryland, Celestine Bailey of Richmond and Kim Williamson of California; five stepsons, Gene Barge of Chicago, Milton Barge of Maryland, Arthur Barge of Maryland, Berly Barge of Norfolk and Wendell Barge of Louisiana; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Magnolia Wilkins of Chesapeake.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Christ the King Catholic Church by Father Bryan Rafferty. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Family and friends will assemble at Graves Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. for a processional to the church. Visitation with family will be from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home Sunday.
