Charles E. Lamb, 61, of the 4800 block of Woods-edge Road, died Saturday, June 7, 1997, in a local hospital.
Mr. Lamb was born in Lumberton, N.C. He attended Chesapeake Church of God and was a retired U.S. Navy chief petty officer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezekiel Lamb and Dora Lamb Faulk, and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Camilla Hester Lamb; two sisters, Betty Prevatte of Fairmont, N.C., and Linda Davis of Monroe, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Rosewood Memorial Park, officiated by the Rev. Tim Bateman. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
