SUSAN R. EPPS

Susan Ray Epps, a former resident of Suffolk, died June 6, 1997.

A native of Newport News, she was the daughter of the late Gibbon McRay and Edith Huber Epps. Miss Epps was a graduate of John Yeates High School in Suffolk and V.P.I and was retired from the Commonwealth of Virginia as a geologist.

Survivors include her stepmother, Elizabeth Epps of Suffolk; and her aunts and uncles, Gregor and David Huber, Louise Epps Neal, Grace Epps Peeler, William Epps, Frances Epps Feagan and Alice Epps Deans.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday at Union Christian Church Cemetery, Surry County, by the Rev. Lafayette T. Wilkins Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home, Suffolk, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
