EVELYN J. HANNA

Evelyn J. Hanna, 74, died June 9, 1997, in a local hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she retired from the City of Virginia Beach in the department of inspections and general electrical department. She was a Baptist and a former member of the Sweet Adelines. She was the widow of Mark Hanna.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Hanna Bonney and her husband, Douglas Bonney of New Church, Va.; two sons, Mark Hanna Jr. and his wife, Julia M. Hanna of Chesapeake, Timothy R. Hanna and his wife, Rebecca Hanna of Leavenworth, Kansas; four sisters, Marie, Katherine, Nina and Helen; three brothers, Alfred, Robert and Ronald; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Pastor Dave L. Libengood. Burial will in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
