Doris Sivels Shields, of the 300 block of Middle St., died June 6, 1997.
Born in Chesapeake, she was a member of United House of Prayer for All People, New Bedford.
Survivors include her mother, Esther G. Sivels, and father, William Sivels, both of Chesapeake; a sister, Katrina Artice of St. Louis, Mo.; three brothers, William Sivels and David Sivels, both of Rhode Island, Allen Sivels of St. Louis; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in United House of Prayer, 1433 Whittamore Road, Chesapeake, by Apostle R. Price. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
