Willie E. Cogsdale, 83, of the 700 block of Clubhouse Road, passed away Thursday, June 19, 1997, at his home after a brief illness.
The widower of Margaret T. Cogsdale, and retired from Colonial Stores, Willie was known throughout the local antique community. Antiques and the joy of dealing with his many friends became his way of life following his retirement.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Callis of Virginia Beach; a son, William S. Cogsdale of Freeman, Va.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Fred Bates Jr. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
