MARY B. HOLLEY

Mary Barbour Holley, 71, of the 800 block of Tifton St. died peacefully Sunday, June 22, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

She was a native of Louisburg, N.C., and the daughter of Corston and Annie Wright McNeal and the widow of Herbert H. Barbour Jr. She was a member of Queen St. Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn B. Brockington and Marcina B. Cherry; son, Herbert H. Barbour III; brother, Corston McNeal Jr. of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Kenneth D. Brockington, Arianna T. Brockington, James E. Cherry Jr. and Monet S. Cherry; two great-grandchildren. She is survived by two sons-in-law, Albert L. Brockington and James E. Cherry Sr. and daughter-in-law, Karen Brown Barbour.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Queen St. Baptist Church by the Rev. Peter M. Wherry. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in church at 10 a.m. Thursday. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
