Nila C. McGibbeny, 61, of the 400 block of E. Bayview Blvd., died June 22, 1997, in her home with her family by her side.
A devoted mother and housewife, she was a native of Asco, W.Va.
Survivors include her husband, ``Mack'' William H. McGibbeny; three daughters, Caren Beccaglia of Baltimore, Md., Judy Woodby and Susan Fitch, both of Virginia Beach; son, Corey Fitch of Norfolk; sister, Valena Casey of Chesapeake; 15 grandchildren and the oldest daughter of Judy Woodby is expecting the 16th grandchild; two stepdaughters, Carol Meads of Chesapeake and Sandra Hurd of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Pastor Randy Wooden. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
