Mildred E. Bartholomew, 83, died June 22, 1997.
In Virginia Beach, she served as a member of the Comprehensive Mental Health Board and was active in the Schizophrenic Foundation.
She is survived by her daughter, Emily Shue of Smithfield; son, Paul Bartholomew (and his fiancee, Virginia Lewis) of Virginia beach; grandchildren, James Shue, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Shue and Laura White; great-grandson, Nathaniel Hayes Shue; and two brothers and a sister.
Services are Friday at 11 a.m. in Kammeraad Funeral Home, Memphis, Mich. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 20 Koger Center, Suite 233, Norfolk, Va. 23502. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
