Stephanie Weiss Jacobson, 48, died June 25, 1997, in a Richmond Hospital.
Mrs. Jacobson was a native of Portsmouth. She was a graduate of Wilson High School and attended the University of Miami before graduating from Old Dominion University School of Dental Hygiene. She was owner of Suzanne Jacobson Stationery in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Jacobson was a member of Ohef Sholom Temple in Norfolk, the Beth Sholom Auxiliary and numerous other religious organizations. She was a past board member of the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, the Larkspur Circle of The King's Daughters, as well as numerous other charitable organizations.
Survivors include her husband, Joel C. Jacobson of Virginia Beach; her sons, Gregory Scott Jacobson and Bradley Jay Jacobson, both of Arlington, Va.; her mother, Gertrude Weiss of Portsmouth; her sister, Bobbie Brostoff of Charleston, S.C.; her uncle, Richard S. Weiss of Norfolk; and numerous cousins and other family.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 27, at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Morrison Bial and Cantor Jennifer Bern-Vogel.
