Pandora Johnson didn't celebrate her Independence Day holiday grilling burgers in her Green Run back yard with her husband and five children.
She was up in Culpeper. In fact, she was invited to be a guest of honor in the small Northern Virginia town's 4th of July parade.
As the newly named Mrs. Virginia, Johnson will need to get used to such celebrity. Next month she travels to Las Vegas to compete for the Mrs. America crown from Aug. 28 through Sept. 6.
Her children are just as excited as she is. ``They want their mommy to be Mrs. America,'' she said.
When she's not being Mrs. Virginia, the busy wife and mother is very involved in her children's school, at her church and with modeling.
