George Christian Guvernator III died Wednesday, July 2, 1997.
He is survived by his son, George Christian Guvernator IV; and daughter, Elizabeth Howell Guvernator; his sister, Anne Guvernator Freeman; and his grandson, George Christian Guvernator V.
He was a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, a vice president of investments at Legg Mason, and a member of the Commonwealth Club, Archaeological Society of Virginia, the Virginia Museum and the Science Museum of Virginia.
A graveside memorial service at Hollywood Cemetery will be Monday, July 7, 1997, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Elk Hill Farm, Boy Scouts of America or the Science Museum of Virginia. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
