MARIAN E. CORPREW

Marian E. Corprew of the 2200 block of Rock Creek Drive passed July 10, 1997, at her residence.

Mrs. Corprew was the daughter of the late Raymond A. Sr. and Clara D. Scott. She was the widow of Master Sgt. Milford A. Corprew. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, Norfolk, and Norfolk State University. She was retired from FAADCLANT Naval Station Norfolk as executive secretary of the commander.

Her religious affiliations included membership at the First Baptist Church, West Munden, and she enjoyed fellowshipping at the 8 a.m. service each Sunday at the Bethany Baptist Church, both in Chesapeake.

Survivors include a sister, Gloria Scott-Vann of Chesapeake; brother, Raymond A. Scott Jr. of Virginia Beach; a devoted niece, DeVaughn Scott-Smith of Norfolk; an uncle, aunts, nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in First Baptist Church, West Munden, Chesapeake, by Dr. John L. Ashby. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
