Glenna Foit Whitten, 72, formerly of Portsmouth, died July 12, 1997, in Chambersburg, Pa. She was a native of Ragland, W.Va., and was the widow of Warren Whitten.
She was a member of Portsmouth First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her son, Joseph G. Whitten and his wife, Leah, of Chambersburg; grandchildren, Jody, Jamie and Christopher Whitten.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Portsmouth First Pentecostal Holiness Church by the Rev. Nelson F. Fields Jr. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
