Robert Spillman Miller, 83, of the 200 block of Dune St., died July 10, 1997,in a Chesapeake nursing home.
Mr. Miller was born in Norfolk and was the son of the late Oscar and Mary Dozier Miller. He had retired from the Norfolk and Western Railroad after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys Iola Fouke Miller of Norfolk; his daughter, Carol Ann Hilton of Chesapeake; sister, Virginia Post of Norfolk; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk. Dr. Paul Watlington and the Rev. David Shelton will officiate. The family will receive friends in Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, Saturday from 7 to 8 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
