Edna Ruth Edwards, 48, died July 13, 1997, in her residence.
A native of Duplin County, N.C., she was a general manager at Taco Bell with 18 years of service. She was a Baptist and contributed to CBN. She was a member of Women's Loyal Order of the Moose, Chapter 464.
Survivors include her husband, Ray A. Edwards; daughter, Charlene Marrow of Virginia Beach; four sons, Jonathan Brice Head Jr. of Pender County, N.C., Thomas Everett Head of Wilmington, N.C., Cpl. John Douglas Head, U.S. Army, of Virginia Beach, and Eric Ray Edwards of Georgia; her mother, Cleo Pauline Blizzard of Chesapeake; two sisters, Frances Jean Rooks of Leesville, La., and Barbara Louise Smith of Utah; three brothers, James Blizzard Jr. of Beulaville, N.C., Donald Ray Blizzard of Pender County, N.C., and Clay Allison Blizzard of Wilmington, N.C.; six grandchildren, Timothy, Ashley, Brian, Steven, Jeffrey and David; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Imogene and Ed Malloy of Cincinnati. She was predeceased by her father, James Blizzard Sr.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Pastor Dave Libengood. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in Blizzard Family Cemetery, Beulaville. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
