THINGS WILL BE shaking at this fall's Peanut Fest when Neal McCoy performs.
His hit ``The Shake'' is riding high on country charts. The song's message: shake it.
It's a safe bet that McCoy will perform the make-'em-happy song when he gets to Peanut City for Peanut Fest on Oct. 12.
The annual Suffolk party Oct. 9-12 at Suffolk Municipal Airport will offer a great deal of entertainment - with McCoy as the headliner.
That means fest-goers will hear another fun piece, ``Wink,'' plus such top hits as ``You Gotta Love That'' and the softer ``Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye.''
McCoy is one of the few major artists who hits the stage without a set play list, entertaining with an anything-goes philosophy.
He also will perform songs from his next album, due for release at about the same time he hits Peanut Fest.
His visit will be on Columbus Day - a good day to discover what's new in the Neal McCoy songbook. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
