Ruth Babb Engler, 86, of the 500 block of Westmoreland Ave., died Saturday July 19, 1997 in Suffolk.
She was a retired secretary at the Water Department for the City of Norfolk. She was a Portsmouth native. She was a member of Westhaven Baptist Church, Portsmouth and its T.E.L. Sunday School Class.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Sturtevant Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. W. Thomas Wood. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
