Tonya Sharell Harper, 24, of the 2200 block of Benefit Road, died July 19, 1997.

Survivors include her parents, Ella L. Harper and the Rev. George E. Harper Sr., sister, Juanita Sutton, brother, George E. Harper Jr., and grandmother, Annie Johnson, all of Chesapeake; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Willow Grove Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Kevin R. White. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The remains will be placed in the church at 12:30 p.m. the day of the service. Viewing will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
