A 55-year-old man charged Wednesday with two bank robberies has been charged with a third robbery.
Charles Gertrude Sullivan, whose last known address was on Talbert Avenue in Chesapeake, also has been charged with the June 20 robbery of the Navy Yard Credit Union, 5104 George Washington Highway.
The other two robberies he was charged with occurred at the Jefferson National Bank at 1000 Airline Blvd. Wednesday, and the Signet Bank at 3201 High Street on June 6.
Police are seeking help in solving these other robberies:
A Uni-Mart at 4100 George Washington Highway was robbed after 3 a.m. July 23 by two men.
The suspects are described as black, in their late teens to early 20s, 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing close to 200 pounds. One suspect wore a red shirt and blue pants, and the other wore a black shirt and camouflage pants.
The suspect wearing the red shirt reportedly was armed with a handgun.
The Bojangle's Restaurant at 1800 Frederick Blvd. was robbed about 2:30 p.m. June 20 by a man who reportedly threatened to shoot restaurant employees.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s or 30s, 5 feet 4 inches tall and 200 pounds, wearing denim shorts, a knit hat and a dark shirt.
He fled toward Turnpike Road and the Westminster area.
Police said the man should be considered armed and dangerous.
