KAYE D. BYRD

Kaye D. Byrd, 44, of the 200 block of Dalebrook Drive, died July 29, 1997, in a Norfolk hospital.

Born in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., she was the manager of Lynnhaven Bingo Center for three years. She was a Baptist, and a member of the American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Clubs of South Hampton Roads and the Animal Assistance League.

Survivors include two sons, James Allen Byrd Jr. and Jason Lee Byrd, both of Virginia Beach; mother, Lena Hines and stepfather, Lee Hines, both of Virginia Beach; her identical twin sister, Faye Berry of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Gary Daniel of Virginia Beach, Bruce Daniel of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
