JAHUGH BRYANT

Jahugh ``Jay'' Bryant, 70, of the 2400 block of Cedar Road died July 27, 1997, in his home.

A native of Norfolk County, Va., he was the husband of Eva Bryant and a retired rigger with 15 years of service at Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydock.

Survivors include his two sons, Edward Jahugh Bryant of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Arthur Jayson Bryant of New York, N.Y.; sister, Julia Johnson of Chesapeake; two brothers, William A. Bryant and Thomas Jenkins, both of Chesapeake; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Dolores Bryant and Darline Bryant; aunt, Eleanora Stewart; a brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Corprew Funeral Home, Portsmouth, by Bishop C.N. White Jr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
