David O. Lee Jr., 82, of the 2000 block of Long Creek Road, died Aug. 1, 1997.
Mr. Lee was a Norfolk native and the widower of Frances T. Lee. He was a fire engineer with the Norfolk Fire Department and retired after 27 years of service. He was a member of Corinthian Lodge (NU)266 AF&AM. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include his son, William H. Lee of Chesapeake; brother, William S. Lee of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Brian D. Lee and Jean Smith; and two great-grandchildren, Heather Ashlee Smith and Chelsea Paige Smith.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Princess Anne Memorial Park, Virginia Beach, by Chaplain Lamar Sentell, Norfolk Fire Department. An honor guard will be furnished by the Norfolk Fire Department. The family will be at the home of William H. Lee, 201 Kensington Way, Chesapeake, and will receive friends there today from 5 to 7 p.m. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
