Elva M. Ward, 79, of the 3200 block of Foxgrove Lane, died Aug. 9, 1997, in Maryview Hospital.
She was born in Bridgeport, Conn., and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, William W. Ward; a son, Duane Ward of Virginia Beach; and grandchildren, Eric Ward and Kyle Ward.
The body will be cremated. Friends may pay their respects Monday, Aug. 11, at 7:30 p.m. at 3201 Foxgrove Lane, Chesapeake. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
