Jeffrey Omar Boddie, 7, of the 3800 block of Essex Circle, died Aug. 10, 1997, in his residence.
Born on Aug. 22, 1989, he was a student at Norview Elementary School and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He was the son of Felicia Beasley-Boddie and Jeffrey Lynn Boddie, both of Norfolk.
Other survivors include his brother, Michael Boddie of Norfolk; maternal grandmother, Annie Beasley; paternal grandparents, Walter Bailey and Laurine Boddie, all of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Bethany Baptist Church by the Rev. Dr. Jake Manley. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Garden. The remains will be ready for viewing from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The family will assemble at the residence at noon for the procession. Carlos A.
