Raymond Wallace Lee Sr. of the 1600 block of Madison Ave. died Aug. 9, 1997, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
A native of Northampton County, N.C., he was a laborer for Camellia Foods for 15 years, retiring in 1994.
Survivors include his wife, Maude S. Lee; four daughters, Etta Stephenson, Clementine Kelley, Diane Williams, Susie Newton, all of Norfolk; son, Raymond Lee Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Edith Watson of Suffolk and Teresa West of Newark, N.J.; three brothers, Grady Lee of Severn, N.C., Wesley Lee of Baltimore, Md., and Richard Lee of Severn; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law; three sons-in-law; seven sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; a grandson-in-law; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul CME Church, Norfolk, by Minister Randy Brown. Burial will be in First Baptist Church, Severn. Family and friends will assemble at 1679 Madison Ave., Norfolk, Saturday at 10 a.m. for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
