James Philmore Lane, 81, passed away Aug. 13, 1997, in his residence.
Mr. Lane was retired from the City of Virginia Beach after 37 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Cona Fay Lane; three sons, John F. Lane of Virginia Beach, Joseph R. Lane of Virginia Beach, James D. Lane of Fredericksburg, Va.; two daughters, Opal M. Schlabach of Virginia Beach and Angie M. Repinski of Birdsnest, Va.; 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday in Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Jim Ullian. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
