Elsie Lee Brado, 67, of the 800 block of Potomac Avenue, died Aug. 16, 1997, in a local nursing home.
A retired clerk from Bradley's Department Store, she was a Baptist and a native of Portsmouth.
Survivors include a son, Glenn Corey Brado of Portsmouth; brother, Horace E. Jinkins of Portsmouth; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, by Dr. Sylvester E. Hathaway III. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home and at other times at the home of her niece, Mrs. Lucille F. Mason, 4900 Orleans Drive, Portsmouth.
