Cora Blount, of the 600 block of Goff St., died Aug. 15, 1997, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Blount was born in Edenton, N.C., and was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. She was the widow of James Blount.
Survivors include a son, Andrew T. Ricks Jr. of Baltimore; a daughter-in-law, Catherine W. Ricks of Baltimore; a special niece, Cora Roscoe of Norfolk; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church by the Rev. Ronnie Joyner. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will assemble at Graves Funeral Home the day of the service. ILLUSTRATION: Personal Photo KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
