Retired U.S. Coast Guard Capt. Donald Gordon Elliott, 86, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 1997, in a Windsor, N.C., nursing home.
Mr. Elliott, a native of New London, Conn., was retired as captain in the U.S. Coast Guard with 22 years of service. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge (NU)1155 in Pasadena, Calif., and was an Episcopalian. Mr. Elliott was the widower of the late Mary Elizabeth Hayman Elliott.
Mr. Elliott is survived by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Logan of Pennsylvania; a son, Daniel Hayman Elliott of Manteo, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
