Gary S. McKoy Sr. of the 1200 block of Curie Court died Aug. 23, 1997.
Survivors include his former wife, Barbara Jean McKoy Burke; three daughters, Carolyn Gill, Adriane McKoy Young and Cheryl McIntyre; one son, Gary S. McKoy Jr.; three sisters, Maxine Lightner, Doretha Pernell and Myrtle Hogue; one brother, Harold McKoy; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in First United Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Ditawa Nianda. Burial will be in Virginia State Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, Va.
