Ina Jaffe Reshefsky of Crawford Parkway, passed away Aug. 26, 1997, in her residence.
A native of Hazelton, Pa., she was a retired science teacher from Wilson High School, Portsmouth. Mrs. Reshefsky was a member of Gomley Chesed Synagogue, Gomley Chesed Sisterhood, a life member of the Hadassah, Beth Sholom Home Auxiliary and a graduate of Syracuse University. She was the widow of Joseph A. Reshefsky.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra R. Gordon and her husband, Howard, of Virginia Beach; a son, Marc A. Reshefsky and his wife, Irma, of Washington, D.C.; and four grandchildren, Greg Gordon, Jesse Gordon, Eliza Reshefsky and Alec Reshefsky.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today in Gomley Chesed Cemetery by Rabbi Philip S. Krohn. Burial will be in Gomley Chesed Cemetery. The family will be at the residence this evening and other times at the Gordon Residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gomley Chesed Synagogue. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
