LAWRENCE J. HORSEY

Lawrence Joseph Horsey, 54, of the 1400 block of Pissarro Circle died Aug. 26, 1997, in a local hospital. Mr. Horsey was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was a former employee of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and was the president and owner of Atlantic Telecom of Virginia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who had a wonderful sense of humor, and was well-loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Sandra J. Horsey; a son, Lawrence J. Horsey Jr. and his wife, Nicole of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Sandra M. Gibbs and her husband, Andy, of Hampton and Jacqueline Horsey of Virginia Beach; three brothers, William Horsey of California, Robert Horsey of Texas and Kenneth Horsey of Florida; two grandchildren, Andrew Tyler Gibbs and Lawrence Joseph Horsey III.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. following the visitation inside the church by the Rev. Msgr. Thomas J. Caroluzza. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
