Ruth Adella Duignan, 85, of the 400 block of Cranston Lane died Aug. 26, 1997.
A native of Rochester, N.Y., she was the widow of Joseph F. Duignan. She was a retired restaurant owner and a Presbyterian.
Survivors include a son, Michael J. Duignan of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Kevin and Jason Duignan of Richmond; and a longtime beloved companion, Alan Norton of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by the Rev. Dr. Richard J. Keever. Burial will be in Chili Rural Cemetery No. 3, Chili, N.Y., at a later date.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad, South Plaza Trail, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. The family will receive friends following the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
