A second woman from the group of 20 female cadets who enrolled at The Citadel last week has dropped out of the military college.
Twenty-nine male cadets have also left, leaving 528 members of the freshmen class, college spokesman Terry Leedom said Friday.
The college did not identify the cadets. Leedom said the woman, who dropped out Friday, decided she did not want the military lifestyle.
``It just wasn't a good fit,'' he said.
There were no allegations of improper treatment involving the woman, Leedom said.
However, the college is looking into a complaint by a male student who left earlier this week. He said an upperclassman sprayed water into his face from a drink bottle freshmen are required to carry during the hot weather.
The college attracted national publicity last year when two women left after a semester, saying they had been hazed.
