Frankie Hedger Zetts, 66, of the 3800 block of Sugar Creek Circle, died Aug. 30, 1997.
Born in Eldorado, Ill., she retired as a secretary from the Naval Supply Center after 15 years. She attended Centenary United Methodist Church and was formerly a volunteer at Portsmouth General Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Laura Backues of Portsmouth and Catherine Zetts of Lasker, N.C.; two sons, David G. Zetts of Chesapeake and Keith A. Zetts of Corapeake, N.C.; two sisters, Jesse Fleicher of Chicago and Lodemia Lynn of Eldorado, Ill.; three brothers, Avery Hedger of St. Louis, Mo., William Hedger and J.C. Hedger, both of Alton, Ill.; and 10 grandchildren. She is also survived by the father of her children, George J. Zetts of Columbia, N.C.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. William L. Vann III. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
