Lola Ruth Renfrow Burk, 87, died Sept. 1, 1997. Known as ``Other Mommy,'' she was born in Wilson, N.C, and was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Benjamin W. Burk; two sons, James Myron Renfrow and Nedham Carl Renfrow, both of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Reba Darby of Norfolk and Anna Bell Williams of Durham, N.C.; two brothers, Garland Branch High of Bailey, N.C., and Barney B. High of Durham; four grandchildren, Wayne C. Renfrow of Virginia Beach, Debbie Garrison of Chesapeake, Julia Renfrow and Stephen Renfrow, both of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park by Dr. Donald A. Williams. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
