KENNETH W. MALBON

Kenneth Winfrey Malbon, 83, of the 600 block of Pinetree Drive, died Sept. 2, 1997, in a Virginia Beach Hospital.

Born in Norfolk, he had retired after 34 years with the Naval Air System Command Representative Atlantic. He was a member of Thalia United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of Willis E. Fentress Masonic Lodge No. 296 AF&AM.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary G. Malbon; a son, Kenneth Wayne Malbon of Alexandria, Va.; a sister, Sallie M. Rudolph of Norfolk; four nieces and two nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Marc Brown. Masonic rites will be accorded at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
