Man accused of molesting two boys in his home

Police have charged a 48-year-old man with molesting two boys while they visited his home.

Regelio C. Guanzon of the 4400 block of Segovia Court was arrested Monday night and charged with six counts of forcible sodomy of a 7-year-old and an 8-year-old, said detective Don Rimer. Guanzon was a friend of the older boy's family, he said.

The names of the boys were withheld because they are alleged victims of sex-related crimes.

The boys told police the assaults occurred between June 1 and Sept. 1. Guanzon is being held without bond in the city jail.

FRANKLIN

Police searching for four

in fatal weekend shooting

Police are looking for four suspects in a weekend homicide, the city's second of the year.

Two women and two men are wanted in connection with the death of Alexander Lee, who was shot in the head with a large-caliber handgun early Sunday.

Lee, 38, was apparently arguing with the suspects in the 1400 block of South Street when he was shot about 1:20 a.m., police said. Lee apparently had been living on Bracy Street, although police could not confirm the address.

The suspects were in a late-model, four-door black car with tinted windows. The vehicle - possibly a Nissan Altima or Hyundai Elantra - had a North Carolina inspection sticker, a North Carolina license ending with the digits ``7770,'' and deep-dish, star-type chrome rims, according to police.

A woman was driving the car, which headed south on South Street after the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call detective J.L.M. Golman or Cpl. W.R. Clark at 757-562-8575, or Franklin Crime Line at (757) 562-8599. KEYWORDS: MURDER SEX CRIME CHILD MOLESTER CHILD MOLESTATION
