DR. ELWYN L. IRVING

Dr. Elwyn L. Irving, D.V.M., 75, died Sept. 4, 1997.

The retired owner of Southampton Veterinary Clinic after 30 years, he was a native of East Aurora, N.Y. Dr. Irving was a member of Sycamore Baptist Church of Franklin and a former member of Hunterdale Ruritan Club. The son of the late William D. Irving and Edna Roher Irving, he was a graduate of Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Dunn Irving; a stepdaughter, Dr. Bobbie Lee Irving of Gainesville, Fla.; and a brother, Millard A. Irving of East Aurora.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, by Dr. M. Reginald Warren. Friends may join the family in the Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of choice. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
