Dolly Mae Barrett, 74, of the 900 block of Sunnyside Drive, died Sept. 6, 1997, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Born in Wilson, N.C., she was a retired seamstress and the widow of Robert Barrett.
Survivors include a daughter, Mittie J. Lamm of Virginia Beach; three sons, William Albert Joyner of Chesapeake, Lloyd Lucas Joyner of Texas, and Luther Earl Joyner of Maryland; four brothers, Billy Ray Lucas, Jim Lucas, Jack Lucas and Thurman Lucas, all of Wilson, N.C.; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Pastor Daniel Davey. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
