Mildred Louise Reid, 84, of the first block of Albemarle St. died Sept. 6, 1997, in a local hospital.
She was born in Pensacola, Fla., and was the former owner of Eltoro Leather Shop in San Diego, Calif.
Survivors include her husband, John ``Jack'' V. Reid; a daughter, Yvonne L. Reid, and her husband, David L., of Norfolk; two sisters, Jan Shepherd of Bay City, Mich., and Mae Lacey of Pensacola; a brother, James E. McCoy of Afton, Mass.; and a grandchild, Barry Reid Hodnett of Norfolk.
