Lucy D. Piranian, 73, died Sept. 5, 1997, in Sentara Leigh Hospital.
Born in Istanbul, Turkey, she was a retired, self-employed seamstress. She was the widow of Sahan Piranian and a member of St. John's Armenian Church, Southfield, Mich.
Survivors include a son, Michael Piranian and wife, Demi; grandchildren, Desiree, Matthew and Melody Piranian; and godparents, Onnik and Luiz Boyaciyan of Michigan.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Funeral Home, Norfolk, by the Rev. Nareg Berberian. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a wake service at 8 p.m. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
