CLYDE W. BRYANT

Clyde W. Bryant, 74, died Sept. 8, 1997, in a local hospital.

Born in Roxobel, N.C., he was the widower of Peggy Bryant. Mr. Bryant was a retired salesman for Sears & Roebuck and was a member of Tabernacle Church of Norfolk. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Survivors include three sons, Clyde Ronald Bryant and his wife, Joan, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Donald Ray Bryant and his wife, Sharon, of Boston, Kenneth Wayne Bryant and his wife, Theresa, of Norfolk; a sister, Louise Drake of Northampton County, N.C.; five grandchildren, Scott Bryant, Jonathan Bryant, Christina Bryant, Benjamin Bryant and Daniel Bryant.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Rich Hardison. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to Tabernacle Church of Norfolk, 7120 Granby St., Norfolk, Va. 23505. The family will be at the residence of his son, Ken Bryant, at 435 Suburban Pkwy., Norfolk, after the service. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
