Carrie Lee Smith, of the 33300 block of Joyners Bridge Road, died Sept. 8, 1997, in Smithfield.
A native of Southampton County, she was a private duty nurse and a member of David Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, Courtland.
Survivors include two sisters, Alice Smith of Franklin and Rena Britt of St. George, S.C.; and three brothers, Harvey Smith, Rydell Smith, and Ernest Smith, all of Franklin.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in David Temple A.M.E. Zion Church by the Rev. Samuel Buck. Burial will be in Helping Hand Cemetery, Courtland. William M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc. is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
