Joyce Rickey Ellis, 68, died Sept. 11, 1997.
A native of Roanoke, she was the daughter of Irene Giles Rickey of Suffolk and the late Edward A. Rickey. She was a realtor.
Mrs. Ellis was a member of the Suffolk Christian Church, National Association of Realtors, Suffolk-Franklin Board of Realtors and the Suffolk Women Stock Club.
Other survivors include her husband, Edward T. (Rusty) Ellis; two sons, Michael Edward Ellis of Richmond and Mark Stephen Ellis of Suffolk; a granddaughter and three grandsons.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Suffolk Christian Church by the Rev. Michael Halley. Memorial donations may be made to the Suffolk Christian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1457, Suffolk, Va. 23439. R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home is in charge. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
