Alice Faye Godwin Dunning, 54, of the 600 block of E. Memorial Drive, died Sept. 12, 1997, in Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville, N.C.
A native of Bertie County, she was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Ahoskie, and the Ahoskie Kiwanis Club. She was a financial service officer with Centura Bank, Ahoskie, for 34 years.
Survivors include her son, Sean Dunning of Ahoskie; mother, Elma Hill Godwin White Rowe of Ahoskie; a sister, Patricia Godwin Brown of Oak City, N.C.; and a half-brother, Albert Ray Godwin of Ahoskie.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in First Presbyterian Church, Ahoskie, by the Rev. Jim Evans and the Rev. Robert May. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling arrangements. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
