MAYBELLE NELLUM

Maybelle Nellum, 64, of the 1800 block of Emerald Sea Drive, died.

Born in Norfolk County, she was the widow of Alvin E. Nellum and a member of Calvary Revival Church, Norfolk. She retired from Flower's Bakery five years ago as a roll packer with 28 years of service. She was the daughter of the late Lena and Robert Jones.

Survivors include three daughters, Deneice Lee of Virginia Beach and Alfreada Smith and Rita Mitchell of Chesapeake, and sons-in-law Willie Lee and Timothy Mitchell; grandchildren, Natarsha Lee, Kristina Smith, Juma Lee, Jennifer Smith and Jeremy Mitchell; and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Monday in Calvary Revival Church, 1148 E. Little Creek Road, Norfolk, by Pastor Robert T. Mason. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Witchduck Road, Virginia Beach. The body will be placed in church at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
