John Christopher D'Acquisto, 24, died Sept. 12, 1997, in Needles, Calif.
John was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an honor graduate of Cox High School. John was also an Eagle Scout. He holds the track record at Great Neck Middle School in the 100-meter dash.
John was a joyful traveler in the universe of love.
John is survived by his mother, Sheri Dawn Slinker; his father, Nicholas Joseph D'Acquisto; his loving stepfather, David Slinker; his loving stepmother, Shelia; five brothers, Joseph, David, Samuel, Stephen, Michael; two sisters, Rebekah and Sarah; stepbrother, Joseph; stepsister, Tara; grandparents, Joseph and Josephine D'Acquisto, Ora Jean and Arthur Evett and Clint H. Slinker Sr. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family of his soul.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, in Princess Anne Memorial Park by Bishop Robert P. Robertson. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
