Lucy D. Harrell, 72, of the 6700 block of Chastwell Drive, died Sept. 15, 1997, in Norfolk.
Born in Tarboro, N.C., she was a member of Azalea Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, William ``Bill'' E. Harrell; a daughter-in-law, Margaret U. Harrell of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Fannie Harris of Virginia Beach and Henrietta Best of Tarboro; a granddaughter, Diana Harrell Kelly of Spring Lake, N.C.; a grandson, Bryan Keith Harrell of Virginia Beach; two great-grandchildren, Robert Neel Jr. and Kaleigh Lynne Harrell. She was predeceased by her son, Dennis E. Harrell.
Services and burial will be private. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to a charity of one's choice. KEYWORDS: DEATH OBITUARY
